Kitten de Ville, Miss Exotic World 2002 and the Queen of the Quake is one of the originators of the modern Burlesque movement. In this class Kitten will share with you her 20+ years of Burlesque experience on how to showcase your body by adding subtle movements and facial expressions to heighten the tease and sensuality of your performance.

Please bring a pair of heels that you can dance in and wear clothing that you can move freely in and see your body movements.


About the Instructor: Kitten de Ville has been teaching the art of Burlesque locally and internationally since 2006. Kitten’s classes and workshops offer a friendly and supportive atmosphere to build confidence, have fun, explore your personal style, sexuality and creativity. Burlesque has no boundaries. “Feather Boa Technique” taught by Jolie Goodnight and Ruby Joule - The luxurious feather boa is a staple of the burlesque artist's arsenal of glamour and tease, but it needs an expert handler to really bring it to life. Learn classic boa technique with a twist, and become a boa-weilding pro.


Please bring a boa if you have one, or a scarf or something that will work as a boa placeholder. We will also have extra boas with us! Please bring a pair of heels that you can dance in and wear clothing that you can move freely in and see your body movements.


About the Instructor: Jolie Goodnight is an international award winning burlesque singer and singing striptease trailblazer. With more than a decade of experience as a burlesque instructor, Goodnight has taught at the Austin Academy of Burlesque as well as on tour at such iconic places as the New York School of Burlesque and Indigo Blue’s Academy of Burlesque in Seattle. She is a member and producer of the award-winning Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue in Austin, Texas and Les Bijoux Burlesque of Dallas, Texas and is winner of “Audience Choice" and “Best Tease” at the Texas Burlesque Festival as well as Miss Viva Las Vegas Princess.


About The Instructor : Ruby Joule is a classically trained dancer and actress with over 20 years experience in ballet, jazz, ballroom and world dance, with a burlesque career that spans over 15 years. Based in Austin, Texas she has traveled the world performing her award-winning burlesque acts and sharing her workshops from Australia to Europe and across North America. She is a three-time title holder at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, and has been invited to teach her classes at BurlyCon (the largest burlesque educational convention in the world) over multiple years. She has studied with the Legends of burlesque as well as contemporaries including Catherine D’Lish and Michelle L’Amour. Ruby is known for her intertwining of sensuality and elegance, as well as the playful and lighthearted energy she brings to performing and teaching.
